Ian Kirk

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Ian has a passion for the entertainment industry and in addition to owning ROAR Digital he is also one of the original founders of White Hot Productions, Ian, as Executive Producer, brings the same enthusiasm, dedication and business nous to White Hot and ROAR Digital’s film and television productions as he does to the successful management of his significant non-entertainment international assets.

Seeking an outlet for his film and television interest, he began with supporting the early stages of script development on several projects and investment in selected productions. He acquired ROAR Digital to compliment White Hot Productions. ROAR Digital’s recent work includes “BEYOND THE WASTELAND”, “TRUST FRANK”, “MEASURE FOR MEASURE”, “THE VIPERS HEX”, “REFLECTIONS IN THE DUST”, “MY CHERRY PIE”,  “CLOUDSTREET”, “SURVIVING GEORGIA” “THE MENKOFF METHOD” and “PAWNO”

Ian invested (Via White Hot Productions) in TML Enterprises theatre production of “Fiddler on the Roof’ (starring Topol). The production had successful seasons in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth as well as Wellington and Auckland.

Ian’s film credits include Executive Producer of  “THE DRESSMAKER”, “BOILING POINT”, “NEVER TOO LATE”, “VILLAIN”, MEASURE FOR MEASURE”,  “THE MENKOFF METHOD”, “PAWNO”, “GENESIS”, “CARGO”, “NIGHTSHOOTERS”, “ALI’S WEDDING”, “BOYS IN THE TREES”, “STALKHER”, “SURVIVING GEORGIA”, “UNDER A RED MOON” “VANISHED”, “SUNSET SIX”, “MY FATHER IS A WONDERFUL MAN” and “CIRCLE OF LIES”.

Ian’s diverse body of works have won 35 Australian and International Film Industry Awards and have been Nominated for over 100 more.

Charlie Ellis

COLOURIST AND TECHNICAL MANAGER – ROAR DIGITAL

Charlie has over 30 years of Film & TV experience.  Initially, he worked as a video technician before progressing to a creative position in Telecine.  He then worked for several respected facilities throughout Australia, he designed and built the first DI (Digital Intermediate) theatre for digital film grading at Warner Roadshow Studios.  His diverse industry experience across Australia, South East Asia and China has enabled him to become an award-winning Senior Colourist, now based at ROAR Digital, Port Melbourne.

Charlie in his current role of Colourist and Technical Manager ROAR Digital has the skillset and diverse experiences to provide clients with the highest level of care and attention to detail required to produce best in class feature film and TV Series productions.

Under Charlie’s leadership ROAR Digital was the 2019 Winner of Screen Producers Australia – Services & Facilities Business of The Year.

Ryan Pope

POST PRODUCTION DIGITAL TECHNICIAN

Ryan graduated in 2018 from Deakin University with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Film and Television).

He has developed a passion for the work that goes on behind the scenes of the film making process, using his studies to focus on the Post Production workflow and the ability to bring together all elements of a film, providing the final touches and delivering a finished film.

Ryan undertook numerous freelance roles within the Film & TV industry prior to joining ROAR Digital, these experiences were across the fictional, health, education, corporate, event and sport sectors.  Excellent background for developing post-production skills.  Ryan utilises this skillset for his work at ROAR Digital.

Ryan in his current role at ROAR Digital handles tasks such as creation and delivery of Digital Cinema Packages (DCP), Video On Demand (VOD) elements and authoring of both large and small scale Blu-ray & DVD releases.

Vann Fisher

ADVISORY BOARD MEMBER

Vann draws on 40+ years of corporate, commercial and financial experience to provide ROAR Digital, part of The White Hot Group with robust strategic and related advices.

Vann is the founding Director of Wall Street Consulting Pty Ltd providing strategic and directional advices to private and corporate clients as well as being a Director of various private companies (representing his own and client interests) engaged in real estate and general investments.

Vann is also a co-founder of the Bowery Capital Mortgage and Investment Fund and has been a Consultant at Wisewould Mahony Lawyers since 2002.

Vann holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics from Monash University and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
