This privacy policy explains how ROAR Digital collects, holds, uses, protects, discloses and stores personal information that you (“user”, “users”, “you”, “your”) provide to ROAR Digital.

OUR SERVICES

ROAR Digital’s services include Film Scanning, Colour Grading, Mastering, Editing, Production, Restoration, Authoring and associated Post-Production services.  Our promotional activities include running direct contact programs in local and international markets via a range of activities and platforms.

COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

In the course of providing our services, ROAR Digital may collect personal information from our potential clients and users of our services as well as from other individuals with whom we interact. For example, we collect personal information via:

  • Interviews and phone calls
  • Letters or e-mails
  • Online submission forms
  • Business events
  • Film Festivals
  • Any surveys conducted by ROAR Digital or approved third party subscribe to our social media sites
  • Sign up for our newsletter;

The types of personal information that we collect may include your name, contact information, (for example your email, telephone number and address) and your gender. When we provide our services to you, we may also request that you provide us with further information about you including your role, your industry segment or services required/of interest.

The primary purpose for any personal information collected will be used to provide users with requested products or services advertised and provided by ROAR Digital. Personal information may be used internally within ROAR Digital for business development related activities, research, analysis as well as for direct marketing.  Users have the option of removing their account or unsubscribing from any direct marketing campaigns at any time.  Users can either contact ROAR Digital or follow the unsubscribe feature attached to all digital direct marketing material.

ROAR Digital may provide links for users to share information on third party websites including social media.  ROAR Digital is not responsible for any information users may provide on such sites. ROAR Digital encourages users to read the privacy policy of any third party site they intend to use prior to uploading any personal or non-personal information.

Other than is stated in this privacy policy, ROAR Digital does not (other than associated/affiliated organisations) share, sell, use or offer personal information that it collects to any other companies, affiliates or third party providers.  ROAR Digital will not give your personal information to advertisers or any other organisation without your express consent.

The only situations in which ROAR Digital may disclose any information about you without your consent, or access your communications on our websites, is:

  • if ROAR Digital believes it is necessary to provide users with a service which you have requested.

ROAR Digital policy is not to send any form of “spam” (unsolicited commercial electronic messages).  ROAR Digital’s client database is not made available to any advertiser.  If ROAR Digital’s future policy were ever to differ from its current position, we would first notify you and obtain your consent prior to sending any promotional offerings.

We keep your personal information for as long as we need it to provide our services to you. We may retain your personal information if it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and/or enforce our agreements.

Whenever you visit ROAR Digital’s website, our servers automatically record information about your usage of the site, such as the time of the visit, its duration, and the pages you visit. ROAR Digital reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time by uploading amended content on to the website. Such changes will be in effect when the amended content is uploaded onto the website.

ROAR Digital takes reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is protected from misuse, unauthorised access, unauthorised modification or disclosure and loss.  ROAR Digital also takes reasonable steps to secure personal information, including by storing personal information on servers that are protected in controlled facilities.

In addition, ROAR Digital’s employees and contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality of any personal information held by ROAR Digital.
